PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Youth-driven educational spaces
Research has shown that youth-driven educational spaces (girls’ groups, racial affinity groups, gay-straight alliances, etc.) are incredibly important for nurturing youth development and academic engagement and achievement. We can partner with groups or institutions to plan for, implement, and facilitate such groups depending on your needs.
YPAR Work in Schools
Drawing on Charlotte’s work as Research Director of the School Participatory Action Research Collaborative, we can work with teams of students and practitioners to develop small-scale research projects that examine students’ lived experiences of school culture (policies, programs, and practices) through the lens of action-oriented and justice-centered approaches.
